This means that the H2 is capable of 360-degree recording to capture every sound that needs to be captured then convert the recording to 5.1 Surround. You can also choose to record from the front with 90-degree pattern or from the back of the Zoom H2 at 120-degree pattern with a resolution of up to 96kHz/24-bit. You can choose to record in WAV, MP3 or VBR formats. Your recordings will also have time stamp which lets you easily sort and arrange recordings in production.

Despite the advanced recording technology inside this handy gadget, the Zoom H2 is very user-friendly. All you need to do to start recording is to push the red record button.
